Its safer to fly on a plane than a car.

People make a career out of this and all staff manages to retire from it.

Turbulence is normal and its nothing to worry about no matter how bad it gets

It's tough, I had a family member so afraid of heights/flying they never got on a plane.

But here's a thing: I've flown a bunch of times and no issues.

Statistically, plane issues and crashes are an anomaly, like others say you risk more getting in your car.

Flying in a car is super dangerous! - even for trained stunt performers!

Try to listen to something as it's going up, like a podcast. Once things settle, it's less nerve-wracking.

Ive flown before. Ive been to the other side of the world. But I only fly every few years so I never get used to being on planes

Closing the window if youve got a window seat helps. Closing your eyes and listening to music also helps. Flying gets easier the more you do it. If your ears get sensitive to the pressure it wouldnt hurt to bring some chewing gum to help pop your ears and buying some ear plugs in the future if the pressure does hurt during landing.

I don't like flying too much but I feel better when I look out the window, especially with a window seat. If I have to suffer through it at least I get a cool view.

I have a problem with heights, my first flight I was terrified. Takeoff feels like a mild rollercoaster. Once it leveled out, I lost that sense of being high and was surprised how normal and fine it all felt. I've since flown dozens of times. You are gonna be fine, and it's your head more than anything.

The plane is more scared of you than you are of it.

Just don't make sudden moves, keep your voice soft, and don't bare your teeth, you'll be fine.

I was really hesitant about flying before I had to do it. I actually found it kind of peaceful. My flights were pretty quiet and non eventful. I surprised myself by ending up spending most of them looking out the window. The worst thing about it was that the first flight someone stuck gum to the seat belt so I had to change shirts before jumping on the second plane.

Keep an eye on the flight attendants. If they dont look nervous, its all good.

Hopefully TC has landed. Unless they are going from like US east coast to Asia or something. They should be back on the ground by now
