VXT_ 10/04/23 11:35:39 PM #1:	I used to use discord a few years ago. It was a fun way of talking to friends and making a small forum before group chats became a thing everywhere. Thought I'd go back on discord and see what's up. Before I say my point I have NO problems with anybody who's transgender, autistic, or anything else that might be considered something to bring up early doors. However, I do think... have I missed something here? Discord seems to be full of trans folks, or those who say they're autistic. I'm sure the majority of this is all above board, and there may be one or two folks who take the piss, but still - am I just in chats that have moved on from generic gamer support, or is this a discord thing? Just to reiterate, I don't have an issue with anybody mentioned, I'd actually rather know what the lay of the land is so that I don't enter someone's safe space. I understand that the communities I was previously involved with have now evolved to other societal issues. As someone who isn't trans, has never had any idea about being trans, and has a sense of humor that might be best suited to the jocks throwing paper airplanes at people (before youtube "pranks" ruined a bit of innocent fun), my presence on discord will just annoy people. Sometimes people have differing opinions and I'm just saying that maybe mine might not be the best to share. If we cheersed over a forty I'm sure it'd be fine, but posting stuff online is a little risky. Once again I have no issues with any of the LGBTQQIP2SA community, I wish you all the best, but in the same way my neighbor prefers cats and I prefer dogs, live and let live. I cannot repeat myself enough that I have no issues with anybody whose trans, autistic, or anything else that needs mentioning. I only wanted to mention that the discords I used to be on (and have since joined) now are more focused on these issues, which is absolutely fine.
