Seem pretty odd to not have Hugh playable when he's right there in the icons of the menu. If he's not unlockable then maybe he's DLC where he can finally send Jimbo to the Shadow Realm.

They got rid of characters from the first game? That's a pretty bad move.

it looks that way, but hopefully since there's a campaign this time around, some of them might be unlockable

I'm just saying, the last thing this game needs is "less content" considering that was the first game's biggest problem. I'm okay if they make them unlockable characters, but I'm having a feeling they're just going to make them paid DLC's.

Half of the TMNT were sacrificed to bring in Master Splinter and Clockwork.

I definitely agree.

I was just trying to be optimistic, but I don't doubt that they did cut some content, which is an "interesting" move, if so.

Annoyed that this looks fun, because 1 looked fun as well, and then I was over it in like 2 days.

Whenever I see them announcing a character it reminds me of the novelty characters in Smash, like piranha plant. Only it's every character.

this almost makes me want to cop and resubscribe to PS+ so I can play online, but I'm not all the way sold yet.

especially after the first one.

Some are claiming that the devs were rushed again and they had to cut Oblina, Powdered Toast Man, Hugh Neutron, Helga, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. All of whom were planned to be in the base game. They didn't say if Sandy, Toph, Lincoln Loud, Shredder, and CatDog would return via DLC.

Okay, if they're free updates than I'm cool with that. My issue becomes when a product gets rushed out and all of the actual "missing" characters that are suppose to be in the game are then sold as paid DLC's. To me that's scummy, but I get that they're an incredibly small indie studio versus Smash Ultimate that had over +100 people working on it.
