The Sam's Club's I've been to seemed a lot dirtier and more disorganized compared to the Costco's I've been to across 3 states. I prefer Costco. Anecdotal evidence is good enough for me in this case.

I don't know anything about Sam's Club aside from the name, as I don't think any are near me. I'm a recent Costco member though and I love it.

Sam's Club concession stand pretzels are better than anything in Costco's food court.

I havent been in a few years so this may have changed, but I liked sams club better as it had more name brand products, while Costco seemed to like stocking a brand they made for most things.

Costco all the way. Just had to use their excellent return policy on a vacuum that crapped out on a little over a year.

I've only had one product from Costco not work out to expectations and they made it right in less than 5 minutes.

We only have Sams Clun here, nearest Costco is 2 hours away. My understanding is that Costco is overall better.

Y'all really sleeping on the Costco foodcourt? You can get a 2,000 calorie meal for $5 and you're set for the day.

I don't have a Costco near me unfortunately we only have Sam's Club and BJ's. I had a membership at one point a while back that I got for a discount from my work. I went once and found out they didn't accept Visa credit cards as payment and I never went back. I see they actually have finally caught up to reality and do accept Visa now but I've been going to BJ's since.

I live somewhere that only has Sam's Club around, so I guess I "prefer" Sam's by default, though I keep hearing that Costco is better. I'd personally like to see Costco get a location near me so I could verify that for myself.

I do. Costco is nicer looking, but that could just be because the one in my area is brand new. That said, so far the only thing I like there are the roasted chickens and the pizza from the foodc court.

I have been disappointed at every turn with every Kirkland product I've tried.

Hate Walmart. They treat their employees like shit, and we as a society subsidize them more than any other company. They make billions in profits and should pay their employees a living wage so they don't have to be on EBT/Welfare/Whatever other government assistance.

only been to sams and BJs.

BJs i really didn't notice much of anything being cheaper than just buying stuff at regular stores.

sams i just had a membership expire a few months ago. it was fine. better than BJs but still not something i'd pay full price for membership since i live on my own. i only got the membership cause it ended up being $10 for the year with a deal. does have a food court which is a plus and yea it's just like a big warehouse. but the sellers? advertisers? whatever you call the annoying people that bug you to sign up for crap while you shop. like over half the time i went somebody stopped me. phones or changing your gas company. whatever else. BJs didn't have any of that.

costco is like 40 minutes from me but i'm looking to move closer that way when i do buy a house so if i do i'd try it out. supposedly their food court is better. at least the pizza. hopefully they don't have salesmen there.

My husband and I are Costco members, my dad is a member of Sam's Club (no Costco in his town) so we check out Sam's Club when we go visit him.

On the whole I'm happier having access to Costco than Sam's Club, the variety is better and I haven't seen a significant difference in cost.

My city has all 3. I'm a member of BJs but use to use Sams years ago. Never used Costco.

I use to use Sams beceause my business took me into the city once a week. I would eat lunch at a local chinese place, do my shopping then head home. I kinda miss it
