It's weird that a Connery Bond film came out after a Roger Moore one.

I think he's the most iconic, but Roger Moore is pretty close. Dalton's another favorite, even his movies aren't always up there in the best-of lists. (License to Kill has a GOAT theme adapted from the Goldfinger theme, however.)

I like the Craig take on the character.
Connery is iconic but he gives zero fucks in his last few movies. Dalton too small a sample size. I like both of his movies for different reasons, but they are both off. Brosnan is not served well by his movies. I would have liked to see him in better movies. The first half of Die Another Day is what is his best work. Moore carried the torch for years. He didnt have a physical presence but hes fine. Lazenby is bad. Really bad. He is in a mostly really good movie and Diana Rigg carries that movie. He has a few moments and is physically ok but he cant deliver a quip. The little throwaway lines that Moore or Connery could drop effortlessly fall flat. --- Laugh while you can, monkey boy! ... yeah brosnan was much better than craig. Though possibly the craig movies outgrossed the brosnan ones.Adjusted for inflation Moonraker is near the top so not the best reasoning. I like Moore, as he always lived by his wits and guile. Not the invincible Bond that Connery was. They both live by plot armor and thats fine. In their first films one gets out of danger by making a dummy on a bed and waiting out an assassin, the other escapes by jumping across the backs of alligators. Both scenes are great but one shows a bit more guile than the other. And thats fine. The actors dont write the movies. --- Laugh while you can, monkey boy! ... Copied to Clipboard!
