Been watching through it and while its entertaining with movie level production values. I can't help feel a little disappointed that every ep seems to be simutaniously padded and yet underdeveloped in it's story.

But I think that might be falling into the "Banana's don't float" category where I focus on the story and plot and characters rather than the themes and messages. The show is happy to have things that don't make sense, plot holes, characters that go no where etc to focus on the "message" of the episode.

What did you think of Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet Of Curiosities?

I think ep 3 was the only good one.

One of the later episodes was complete nonsense. 40 mins of a group of people getting high and spouting philosophy in one room before anything actually happened.

But you see! It was about the arrogance of man trying to stubborly understand the unknowable and control the uncontrollable and the harm this causes mankind!!!!!!!
