Know that I'm a bit heated right now. Every single "marketing" guy I've ran into was a complete moron in the sense that their actions closely resembled that of a jock with a 2 second attention span. Their focus is so much on "interaction" that their office behavior makes them seem like they're just being disruptive; like the high school jock giggling in class as they pass notes to each other.The marketing guys in my department give me telemarketer vibes that are reminiscent of the CDG days in the 2000s. Ugh, I just want to tip my coffee over on to their work desk.

no, not by that generalization. a lot of variables factor in. is the school hard to get into, academically? what year is it? what CLASS is it? what do you mean by "full of"? can you quantify that?

there are smart and dumb people everywhere. except maybe in engineering, the intellectual barrier to entry for that is quite high. But are they all going to be great at socializing? well, no, they aren't. A lot will be really bad at that, in fact.

this reads as a bitter monday morning "got a shitty email from a marketing guy" rant. Or, to generelize, theres a couple of guys at your office who you don't like, so now you're trying to spear an entire.....industry, including academic majors lol.
