I drove one in hs/college. It attracted girls that wanted to disappoint their fathers. I was more than happy to be that disappointment.

Have you tried to handle bay area traffic while dealing with a nearly hour long commute? It's a lot easier when you can lane split.

Also it makes the commutes & travel fun. Better a 8,000$ motorcycle then a 80,000$ Porsche like I see everyone else do to make driving more fun if you have to do it
