Shes older and i think she finally said fuck using cell phones like cell phones. She plugs it up in the center of the house/kitchen counter and uses it like a normal phone.

She decided just to ignore and never check texts or text either.

Its like she just said "Fuck cell phones. This is a home phone now."

I have never owned or used a cell phone and unless they get rid of landlines never will. I really have no need for one and can honestly say even if I had one I would just always leave it at home plugged in and treat it like a home phone like your mom does.

I think she tried too hard to embrace it and actually hated it and is finally had it with acting like shes cool with texting and bringing it around everywhere....

Hah, totally understandable. Not everyone needs to feel connected 24/7.

Get her an iPhone.

Good for her for giving it a shot, and it's also much cheaper than a landline so even if it didn't work out as a cell phone she is still better off.

How have you gone so long without using one unless you just do everything on a computer?
