It was quite the experience closing my eyes in one room for a second, and then opening them in a completely different room. My wife, on the other hand, is quite apprehensive about it. My experiences have had me feeling like I got the shit kicked out of me for the rest of the day, but I just kind of slept it off. I was back to normal by the next day. --- I don't believe in belts. I figured I'll be put under again if they decide that my gall bladder has to go. Next week I'm getting a large growth removed from my nose which I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be knocked out for. I remember getting some ultrasound for my appendix, doctor says "well, lets just take it out to be sure, we could this today" and the next thing I still remember is waking up dead tired in my room after everything was done. When you sleep, you can tell that time has passed. General anaesthetic is almost like youre dead and just dont exist anymore and then at some point youre awake again.
