There are still cutaways but they're not as egregious but the show as a whole is such a goddamn mess. It made me laugh a few times but it comes off like a bunch of Millennial writers awkwardly recycling Tweet drafts and constantly doing "hey fellow kids" stuff by shoehorning references to mobile apps and social media, and having Meg randomly talk in Zoomer/AAVE slang
