However Russia also has good relations with Azerbaijan and they sent troops there in the last war to act as peacekeepers. However Russia's relations with Armenia is now strained due to their PM seeking closer relations with NATO, so the Azeris want to take advantage of the situation while Russia will not interfere. --- Hello ...
