Yeah if you watched Clone Wars and how respectable Anakin is throughout it, it drives home the shock when Anakin does fully betray the Jedis. It also makes it more shocking that he wasn't given the title of Master after raising his own padawan and successfully killing Dooku, etc.

He was alright, I just wish the writing was a little better, like why tf is Ahsoka having some existential crisis when we havent gotten any hints about this, ever? Suddenly Ahsoka just wants to give up and not save Sabine and Ezra? Where did she even go? Was this Anakins force ghost? Was this all in Ahsokas head? Why was Ahsoka seemingly bouncing from knowing her future after Anakin to not remembering what happened in the Clone Wars? What even was the lesson that Anakin taught her? Just you have to choose to live?
