You're supposed to select groups of words based on something they have in common. The thing they have in common is revealed after you either make a correct guess or you make 4 mistakes.

Sometimes I feel smart with this game and sometimes it makes me feel very dumb, lol. When I first started playing it, I went about 5 days without getting one right. Them I went multiple days in a row with completed puzzles. Now it's pretty hit and miss for me.

I don't play it regularly, but I've played it a few times. It's tricky with obvious categories having more than four options, and you need to figure out which one can fit into another category.

Also, there's been times where I am left with four remaining at the end, having no idea about what category they fit into and it winds up being some grammatical or pronunciation thing.

Today's for example, TV show title surnames? I'm sure that's straightforward for some, but having easily picked out Airlines and Western Tropes with five words used as synonym for intelligence, that was just a shot in the dark for me.

Yes, I've been playing it semi-regularly.

I'm still angry about that one. I don't think that it was in the spirit of the game to do that.

I think my biggest problem is that I'll look at 4 things that seem to go together, and then just try them without looking at all of the words to see if one of them would fit in a different category. Today's puzzle would be an example that makes me feel dumb, lol.

There's an incredibly tough UK quiz show called Only Connect, which uses that for one of their rounds.
