First character is Geras, second is Quan Chi

Geras is only a cutscene character in story mode. At literally no point do you play as him, fight against him, or even have him as a Kameo assist unless you choose him as your character in the final chapter -- he only shows up in cutscenes.

Quan Chi, however, plays a very active role in the story and you fight against him multiple times, and have him as a Kameo during a few fights.

Feel like these two should have been swapped

Well then the least they could do was give Geras a story mode chapter so he at least felt a little fucking relevant

Literally his entire role in story was to explain the events of MK11 to the people who didn't play MK11

Geras had a better role in the story than most at least. A lot of characters ended up getting shafted in some way. As for Quan Chi and Ermac, they very clearly should have been and were intended to be on the roster at launch. They just ran out of time it looks like.

Because Shang Tsung is considered DLC mandatory now since MK11 for some reason...idk $$$ probably.

They're trying to be different.

Cause Quran Chi is a massive fan favorite and will make a lot of extra money as dlc, its the same reason Akuma is dlc in SF6 and not base game.again
