I think meeting any stranger in person you've just met online is a big step and if you're feeling anxious that week it's the last thing you may want to do, even if you can acknowledge to yourself they look attractive in their pictures and the date may go well
People always personalise it too much and assume they must have done something wrong I've used dating apps for years, have met around 10 people from them and still have phases where I'm happy to chat away but when the reality of meeting them sets in I get super nervous --- Started from the bottom now we here ... In my experience, when I got ghosted I think I was just pushing to meet up too soon. Whenever I had longer conversations before asking someone on a date, some times those convos fizzled, but I didn't experience the rejection of being ghosted upon my ask.
