Have you made much money from it?

I clipped moments from a cartoon like good quotes, songs or funny scenes. On another channel I was an editor and reviewer for episode reviews of the same cartoon. My personal channel wasn't able to be monetized because of copyrighted content, but Hasbro claimed my channel and they got the revenue. I don't feel bad but I've never known how to get the silver play button, maybe the copyrighted content is stopping me but I have 160k subs.

Kinda. A friend and I released a couple short EPs as we figured out how to play and record together. Second one I used DistroKid, which shits your album to whatever platforms you want. I think we've made fractions of a cent from YT in the year and a half it's been up, and only that much because one track is a Daft Punk cover.

I do highly edited walkthroughs and lesser-effort blind Let's Plays on mine. I occasionally branch out into other kinds of videos (currently writing up the script for a video essay). The walkthroughs are something I wanted to do and are an extension of my old text-based FAQs on here.

I've hovered around 400-500 subs with very little views for the past couple of years, so no money made on it. Growth is probably dead, but I haven't actively been promoting it either.

Despite having wanted to do walkthroughs I also want to get into game design and I think I'm gonna have ro sacrifice one for the other because of time issues.

They removed my monetization because all I do is upload unedited NHL 22 videos of me playing XD

I have a decent number of subs for the low quality content I put out, so if I really wanted to I could switch to a more produced channel and easily get monetization back again. Just a matter of... do I really want to do that for just a few dollars a month?

i make a decent amount. nothing where i can live solely off it's income, but it's a nice amount.
