Showing up as he did, I bet he has a planakin.

Was the most fantastical of star wars live action which i have mixed feelings about damn, seeing anakin again like that made it for me and Im someone that didnt care about his obi wan show appearances

I still think the prequels should have been 4 episodes and one live action movie between 2-3 where they showcased anakin as the kind and amazing warrior

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Criminy! Took us long enough to get to:

1. Ahsoka being a character in her own show.
2. Closure for her having been a child sent to war and Anakin's padawan.

I also appreciate that it's not crystal clear just what it is Ahsoka experienced. It obviously wasn't entirely in her head, as Jacen was able to tap into it (then again, who says you can't tap into someone's dreams through the Force?)

I also appreciate that Anakin was ultimately not the answer to Ahsoka's problems. He is still Anakin Skywalker. Hotheaded, coarse, violent, and the one who burned the Jedi Order.

But also I like that she didn't completely reject him either. He's a part of her, for better or worse.

And yay for live action Rex. Long time coming.

Oh, and I also appreciate young Ahsoka didn't get young Ahsoka's tube top outfit. That was always a weird choice to me.

The show just seems to be moving at a snails pace for me. It was cool seeing a bunch of Clone Wars fan service, but it was basically just Anakin giving a pep talk, a little meh.

I never saw Rebels but I am torn on the space whales, like I guess it makes sense in the Star Wars universe but it also just seems extremely stupid that some whales not only travel through hyperspace in the galaxy, but can make it easily all the way to another galaxy.

Definitely not. I did read Andy Weirs recent book Project Hail Mary tho and that had bacteria which could travel between stars

I was fine with everything up until the hyperspace whales. It just feels like such a dumb concept.

But seriously, where the fuck is Zeb?

Ahsoka definitely has her trademark move in fighting other lightsaber wielders. Her being able to disarm and turn the blade back on prime version Anakin/Darth Vader solidifies that.

They definitely spent time on the lightsaber choreography and it shows.

Lots of subtle changes amid the huge stuff happening in this episode. Such as Ahsoka having the sith eyes for a split second on deciding to kill Darth Vader to her personality becoming more lighthearted after she wakes up.

The quality of the show is just so good, I love every second of it.

Seeing Anakin phase between himself and Vader during the flashbacks was cool.

Purrgils are how early spacefarers learned about hyperspace and developed hyperdrive technology.

Or they're holding him back until the end.

They DO have a model for Zeb as he appeared in Mando.

Big question is if Kallus will also show up. They made a big deal out of Kallus and Zeb traveling together after the liberation of Lothal.

Time truly heals all wounds.

I absolutely love how it shifts between Anakin and Vader.

Tracks with how Luke describes his force ghost interactions with him in the Shadows of the Sith book.

Man, seeing The Clone Wars in live-action just made me so damn happy. And Hayden is so good at playing Clone Wars Anakin that I almost want an entire show with him during that era.

I really like the idea that Anakin may have been pulled himself back at the end, but it's not like he flipped a switch from "evil" to "good".

He still lived decades as Darth Vader, and that doesn't just vanish from a psyche.

This was a really fun episode.

The choreography has really been on point these past 2 episodes.

The CW and Anakin/Vader stuff was also great.

Definitely nice to tie up some loose ends between Anakin and Ahsoka. Even though the last half of Season 7 of CW was by far the best part, it was ultimately unsatisfying that the fall of Anakin didn't involve Ahsoka AT ALL

Of course it couldn't directly, because ROTS.

My biggest complaint so far is Hera's lekku, they look so fake and unnatural. I don't know if they tried a more "realistic" look and the moved around so much it was distracting, but the fact that only the last few inches of them move it super awkward.
