I'm pretty sure this game is infamous for being kinda ridiculously hard. I never played it at all but it seems to have gotten itself some life once more with some online pundits talking about it again and people coming out of the woodwork to praise its... I dunno, good parts I guess?

This game scared the shit out of me as a kid. I must've been like 9 or 10 and used to play out of a collection of Genesis/Mega Drive ROMs on my PC that my brother set up for me, probably early to mid 2000s. Loved playing Sonic, Tiny Toons, Superman, Spiderman, WWF Royal Rumble and other Genesis games. One day I was browsing through the catalogue and came across this game and decided to check it out.

All I remember is I was playing as an old man (Druid?) and after some dialogue a gigantic worm broke through the floor and ate my character. That shit almost gave me a heart attack. I didn't play any video games for a couple days after that.

Nope it didn't look appealing. You should ask if anyone played General Chaos. That was one hell of a unique and frustrating game for a console (Genesis) back then Goes back to strange games Electronic Arts made too.

That was a brilliant game.

I have a lot to say about General Chaos sure it'll be luck and the computer cheats after awhile. But you could play it with or against a friend and 5 player squad or tag team your choice lawl.
