That's neat. I rarely ever went to Blockbuster. Went to the local store for the longest ($1 for any old movies for 5 days) and then Hollywood Video, which I eventually worked at.

It takes like 2 minutes to rewind a VHS, depending on length.

It was a weird thing to be obsessed about.

I used to work at Hollywood Video as well. Unlike Blockbuster, we never charged customers for not rewinding VHS tapes. We'd just put them in the super speedy we had.

Reminds me of the deals they had at a local video store I used to go to. Like rent two get one free or two old movies for $2. Since they never asked for a ID I'd rent horror movies there a lot until my sister found out they let me rent a movie with girls posing nude. Then she told her mom and her mom complained to the store and they wouldn't let me rent R rated movies any more.

Blockbuster stopped charging people for not rewinding in like, the early 90s. It wasn't an issue when I worked there, just late fees.
