This all happens in FotNS I watched the Ken vs. Han fight and thought this so I looked it up. Apparently Toriyama editor told him to copy FotNS cause it was popular or Dragon Ball wouldn't have even been a martial arts shonen! WOW. MarcyWarcy 09/10/23 4:16:38 PM #10:	In certain aspects yeah, which is unsurprising because fotns was incredibly popular. The fights are very different though. FOTNS after the very beginning was geared a lot more towards "now Kenshiro fights a guy whose gimmick is (blank)"s and you got to see how hokuto shinken interacted with a guy who is too fat to have his pressure points hit, or a guy who throws dynamite, or a guy seemingly without pressure points at all, etc. It's a lot more varied and villains last a lot shorter a time until you get to the really prominent ones. DBZ fights last way too long and bad guys usually have some kind of gimmick at first but by the end everyone fights by shooting laser beams or warping around and punching really fast. The structure of it is a lot slower (and more boring tbh) --- Looks like this gamer's paradise has turned into a gamer's hell............................................... <cite>MarcyWarcy posted [p:975980682] in TIL Toriya...
