There was a Neverwinter Nights story that involved this. A Succubus was imprisoned, you "Rescue" her (half to pass a stat check or else she entices you) and then it's revealed that she could have escaped at any time and was just letting the bandits think they had captured her so she could toy with and fuck them and do whatever it is Succubi do.

I blame that notion on ancient men looking to demonize beautiful women as hideous (or prostitutes).

The real question, is more, are time loops with romance just rape?

That...sounds like a dating sim in a nutshell.

So lets accept that, somehow, incubi or succubi end up in our world. There's twopossible scenarios:

A) They integrate, IE they try to conform and fit in with our world's standards. If they need to fuck to eat then they'd need to find someone to "feed" them consensually. This could only really happen in a situation where they don't kill people by feeding on them since society, rightly, doesn't accept "But I was hungry!" as an excuse for murder.

B) They develop a predator/prey relationship with people. In this case we'd treat them like anything else that ever thinks it is OK to hunt/eat people, IE with extreme prejudice. We don't care that it is natural for a bear/lion/hippo/whatever to attack humans. We, in fact, put them down pretty much on the spot if they start attacking people. The fact that the creature in this case is sentient doesn't really matter. We are not required to be prey for a predator just because they are human or higher level intelligence. Either they fit in or they die.

Given how people confuse the werewolf and wendigo so often, I attribute those notions to mixing up harpies and succubi.

And men often made women creatures look bad in medieval lore.

One example is the Bicorn and Chichivache. The Bicorn ate virtuous husbands and never was hungry and the Chichvache at virtuous wives but was always starving. That "myth" would be seen as sexist today.

I personally trust my own experience over dead men who had a hate-boner towards women.

The main issue is that an incubus or succubus is a demon. The demon could argue that their very existence immunizes them to human laws. However, if the demon's argument is that they're not human, the government could order their execution the way they do for any dangerous animals.

Speaking of outside context scenarios, what if someone had resurrective immortality? You can kill them, but they come back? What ramifications would that have for the death penalty? Or if someone else killed them?
