I always opted for the (again, roughly) 7:30 to 1:30. I felt I learned better when I had a 10-15 minute break between periods as it gives my brain a chance to actually process what I was taught. I'm one of the few that would prefer to go to class at 9, get off at 4, but have breaks between classes and classes only last an hour. Apparently theyre physically wired to fall asleep late and sleep later in the morning. My daughter likes the later start, but it does push after-school activities farther into the evening.
