I find this inability and unwillingness by some progressives to address rising crime in their communities alarming and dangerous. Progressives do have a way of addressing it. Defund the police and wealth redistribution. You will see less violence this way. We have studies on this, we know it works. Not just to the people there but to the Democratic Party as it fuels the "soft on crime" bullshit. Prosecuting shoplifting is not racist.
