I thought it was pretty good and I haven't seen any of the movies previously or really knew much about them other than "doll comes to life and kills people". Not sure I'd call it a "horror" show though, it was more funny than scary.

It's basically a love letter to the franchise tying all the movies together, bringing back old established characters and tons of nods to the movies. Like ANort175 said, it's closer to Bride/Seed/Cult in terms of tone, it's less horror and more camp. So if you like any of the post 2000s Chucky stuff, you'll love the show. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah, I think you have to enjoy camp to enjoy the show.
