I am playing Tokyo Twilight (gawd this is a long name) Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs.

I got this for 15 bucks off PSN a couple days ago. It's a visual novel mixed with a ghost hunting story mixed with tactical battles (actual gameplay) that does rely on some guess work, but I think I am figuring this out more though. I heard from the one active message post here (someone posted on the damn board) this gets really hard later. I woulda got through this j-pop idol scene by now if it wasn't for the meddling CE. Her story is that when ever she performs ghosts voices infect all the sound equipment.

That depends on what you mean by "most". I told a guy at a liquor store about Street Fighter 6 and he didn't seem to be very familiar.

Probably Legend of Dragoon but it depends on who you ask.

Carol reed mysteries series

Played through games 1- 8 and 14 so far. From the past 2 weeks or so.

So 9 games left of the series for me. They are just simple hidden object point n clicks with a few basic puzzles littered every now and then. uses real photos of locations around Sweden. Voice acting and story are amateurish but to me that's part of their charm. Does require a high suspension of belief lol.

I would not recommend them to most ppl here and still hard to recommend to ppl who like this genre of games cuz they are 14 bucks each and are short in length.

Carol reed mysteries series, I have no idea what that is. I wasn't trying to make this as a brag topic. I could do better at that for some obscure music I guess :/ and just repeatedly post in it it but I thought it could be fun to put this out there.

It's only 2am here and I did want to chill out but gaming and things often happens, at least I am not yelling into a mic.

I played that game a few times and never got real deep into it, but holy crap that got into the Final Fantasy Tactics what the heck is going on now.

not saying it's unknown, but it's probably one of the least known titles in my collection.

I was likely being too snobbish but fr I am sulking in the House of Fata Morgana but Legend of Dragoon was a good drop.

Very interesting story. Marble Madness was before my time (I grew up with Marble Blast) but I'm sure many people have huge nostalgia for it. Just looking through some images/footage of it now, love the aesthetic.

Marble Madness had some good nes music at least.

Even most of the fans for river city ransom on the NES does not know that more river city ransom-like games have been made over the years with the recent most being river city girls 1 and 2. (Also counting the various kunio kun modern releases like the three kingdoms play one and the upcoming console remake of river city tokyo rumble).

Wayforward updated the PS5, xbox series s/x, and the PC version of river city girls 2 to support 4 players with a random out of nowhere patch yesterday. There is crossplay, so we been getting our river city co-op beatdown on.

Mad-Dogg there are some really crazy cool Kunio Kun games especially RIver City Zero Girls which I am not sure how much that was re-translated, but during my Double Dragon II rephase etc, woulda been great. I was thinking of some old stuff as a send off. Gonna lay down soon.

Ah yeah I got me a copy of the ultimate edition for river city girls zero. I also got the double dragon & kunio kun collection on both the PS4 and the switch. (Also considering getting the steam version for the steam deck because why the fuck not?!). I love these games, lol.

Not rare I was looking for the basketball game I never knew came out, but I am going to lay down. Kunio invented extreme sports before Tony Hawk got a game.

Yeah it totally did, lol. The soccer kunio kun game actually made me give a damn about soccer.

Omg I remember the second game, Hope Springs Eternal. I think I played that a bit until after the sliding tile puzzle but I got bored. Around that time, a friend of mine showed me a Nancy Drew game (can't quite remember, maybe another point n click like CoMI) and I never went back to Carol.

14 bucks is a bit too much unfortunately. Shame.

I played Drawn: The Painted Tower a couple years ago and had a blast. There isn't really a game that I'm currently playing that people wouldn't know about as its all AAA or well known indie games.

I can't respond to all of these, but huh ppl are still posting here. I'll probably try out the first game I mentioned soon, but Drawn: The Painted Tower reminds me of the game the (by name only) developers of What Remains of Edith Finch made before it. Now that I think of it, that really was a bizarre game choice for me and that was 2016.

I am down for some Mega Man rpgs but Battle Network never quite drew me in from what I saw.

I'm currently playing Jack Jeanne and it's so long.

Nothing too obscure lately probably

The most obscure (but honestly probably not super obscure) game I've likely owned was Harley's humongous adventure.

Probably played more obscure ones as a kid renting from the video store. But can't recall.

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line.

People know the music in the game, cause it's all Final Fantasy music besides the DLC.

But the actual game? Half a year later and there's nobody to utilize online features with lol

Holocure or Signalis maybe. I can't imagine many non-weeb gamers care for a Hololive fangame(I'm not even a fan) or look at many Bullet heavens outside of Vampire Survivors. I've talked to one guy about Signalis and he hadn't heard of it, even though I know he has Gamepass.

Ballad of the Little Princess

I haven't played it in a few weeks, but I've been loving this indie game called 'Let's School'. It's a management sim where you're in charge of running a Japanese style high school.

And before that, my gf got me to play this horror game called 'The Baby in Yellow' and it definitely made me jump several times.
