One had it 2 years ago but beat it. But the other is showing symptoms of the same cancer, but it's unconfirmed right now (Not gonna know for probably a few weeks). They're both on the opposite spectrums of health too (one is thin and runs marathons, the other is fat and disabled)

Life is fucking weird sometimes >_> Hopefully it's not cancer

We'll see. It's schrodinger's box until then. My step-dad who beat it was super health conscious, but my real dad has a very unhealthy lifestyle >_> Hope it isn't cancer

Dang. I hope if he does have it he ends up beating it like your other dad did. I will say I've had some family members who've had some cancer scares that turned out to be nothing so hopefully that's the case here as well. It's frightening news for sure.

Appreciate it. There isnt much to do until we can see a specialist and get some tests done to confirm or disprove it. All we can do is take it step by step

Thanks. Yeah hopefully tx is easier if it is confirmed. My step dad had to have a transplant for his cancer

I'm both worried and calm. Nothing is confirmed yet. It's in the back of my mind but part of me is also like "no point in worrying about something for weeks when we cant do anything about it right now and may not even exist" All we can do is just go to the appointments and see what happens

damn, that sucks.

hope it's not cancer and it's maybe related to his lifestyle, and is manageable if he makes some changes.

but if it's cancer, hopefully it's something proper treatments can help.

Nah knowing him, he wont change anything for his lifestyle if this is just a scare >_> He had a stent put in and still kept eating like crap afterwards and doing the same unhealthy shit. We all spent like a decade trying get him to be healthy but he's just gonna do whatever he wants. I can lead a horse to water but cant make him drink. Hopefully this aint cancer though

did u have 2 dads growing up or did one of your dads come out later?

i dont think they could have adopted you, you are too old. unless canadian or something.

how do your dads feel about your hobbyist interest in boobs? is one or both of your dads bi?

presumably there are posters of tittys all over your place, is it awkward when both of your dads show up?

edit: i hope your dads are okay!

no lol. My parents divorced and remarried. Maybe I shouldve clarified that >_> My bad. It's just eerie that they both might have the same cancer even though they have nothing to do with each other except being my dad. Thanks for the wishes tho

I hope it turns out that it's just a scare. Even if he doesn't change his habits, it's better to not have to fight cancer head-on.

Oh damn, so the specialist he's gonna see to get tested is actually *at* a cancer center. I thought it was just gonna be at some random medical office. He kinda freaked out about the idea of going to a cancer center once he found that out, but I reminded him that nothing is set in stone yet >_>

Bone marrow cancer. My step dad had to have a bone marrow transplant and then stay in isolation for like 6 weeks until his white blood cells could build back up. I hope my real dad doesn't have go through that if he's diagnosed with it.

I know the prognosis is like 80% survival, but my real dad is really unhealthy which is what has me extra worried >_> My step dad was at peak health and ran all the time but still had to go through all that.
