Just...seems REALLY bad to risk the disaster funds run out when storms are just getting started but Republicans love playing with fire to see others get burned to say the least.

Yes. It's literally costing the US more money to not doing anything about global warming than it would be to take steps to mitigate it.

Yah but as long as it does not " take away the power form the oil companies" its still the right thing to do, because the Oil companies are the only real America for some reason, sigh.

I live in Southeastern Kentucky (the part with the major flooding last year), and we STILL haven't had most of the damage cleaned up yet. Fema is doing very little to help, but the unfortunate part is that they could do more with a bigger budget...
