I got a Bluesky account a couple days ago and although I think it's solid, it's still missing a lot. I have to load it through a different site just to see my damn likes.
Feel like the moment people started paying to be verified, which btw makes no god damn sense, is when all the nazi shit started getting boosted. Now instead of some asshole talking about murdering jews 1000 comments down, it's the first one at the top of the list, because the only purpose of being verified anymore, was being the first comment.

So perhaps I just missed out on all the fascist shit prior to Musk taking over, because I almost never scrolled replies, but just clicking on a video now, rewards you with 10 assholes who thought paying $8 a month to be a piece of shit was a good use of money.

I think there is a more accurate reading in which the ability to block users from the service and not from any single users individual feed/view. So twitter must have the ability to block users. Not twitter users being able to block.

Im only going off of that little section as posted in that link but the subject is the app. Not the users.

So long as there is no competent competitor offering a better or same enough service, this will continue to be the case.

Threads came close, but it's clear it needs a lot of work to get up to the standards of twitter. The fact that so many people signed up initially shows that people are ready for an alternative. The fact that so many dropped it within a day shows it's nowhere near ready yet.

It's already been debunked in this topic. Blocking in App Store terms means perma-banning people from using the service, not letting users being able to prevent those they don't like from seeing their profile and posts like here. It's probably the main reason why GameFAQs won't ever have an app.
