I think there's some nuance to that. Judging someone that's dating or married to a drug addict or something? Sure, a little, but to just write them off as equal is like the epitome of assholery and being privileged.. or sheltered.. or terminally online, or just rabid or something. Or all of the above.

And I'd argue that's less extreme than "anyone with any sort of positive association with the opposite political tribe of mine is also inherently a bad person no matter any other factor".

Obviously there are gonna be examples where it does make a lot more sense to do that, but few that come to mind that are okay with like basically no other information of the actual situation. Other people and their lives aren't so simple that others should feel okay thinking they've completely figured them out based on a single factoid. Negatively or positively.

I get feeling morally superior is best the more people you get to feel morally superior to and being able to advertise it is probably worth a hit of dopamine, but so much of it just comes across as.. rabid nonsense.

Like.. who even is she dating? All I've gleaned from the topic is it's some republican.

I didnt say that should be the only criteria used to judge somebody, just that its a valid one, so you can take your whole morally superior spiel and shove it. And thats not even the most damning detail that people have posted about her in this thread so far.

But feel free to look into it and report back to us how awesome her Republican candidate in Texas boyfriend is. Prove people wrong.

Her rise to having the freaking Larry King spot nearly came the moment CNN's new owners took over so, clearly she was someone there's fav. I mean, in just a few years she just about has become the new " Head face" of CNN with only Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blizer being bigger then her after doing just about nothing, its really corrupt.

Tbf the voice thing might be from working with a voice coach or something to eliminate a southern twang, which could be perceived as less professional for a news anchor.
