I'm a HUGE Wonderboy fan, but I kinda find it interesting that I think this looks objectively worse (just in pure graphical terms) than Wonderboy 3 on the Master System. And I tend to like the gameplay better in WB3... but I still love basically all things Wonderboy.

The remake was for Wonderboy 3 on the Master System, and it was amazing.

I was hoping for Wiz n Liz.
I never played any Wonder Boy games, but I have played most Adventure Island games.

I did, yeah.

Yeah as well as Turbo CD version.

Yeah I never fully understood what to do in the game. Collect wabbits and collect any floating items like fruit and letters before running out of time. Occasionally you'd create spells with the fruit that would unlock mini games and then you'd fight screen filling bosses.

Game has a ton of charm.

Picked up a nice Wonderboy collection, yet all I ever seem to play is Dragon's Trap.
May have to give this one a serious go someday.

One more bump and then a new game tomorrow.

Not a lot of options for X, but I know 100% what I'm picking for it. LOL

Even less options for Y. Z should be a no brainer.
