Every month I check out the new PS+ monthly games, watch the trailers in the shop, and think "I've learned nothing about this game." It's all well and good to showcase the lore and the vibe of the game, but for fuck's sake, include the gameplay.

I'm not opposed to teaser trailers that let you know that a game exists but you should at least give me a date and also do something after you release the teaser instead of going radio silent for years

You mean that game I saw where a man came home to find another man kissing (presumably) his wife's foot while she also has a zombie bite, witnessed her turning and attacking the second man, then fled back into the conveniently barren previous room, then used a pickaxe to make a tunnel straight down through the floor to build an emergency living space under his house, complete with an underground vegetable garden AND armory... wasn't a trustworthy representation of the game being advertised?

I am STILL waiting for a single iota of news for Project 007

I've felt this way since the 7th gen which is why I browse twitch alot. I'd rather watch live gameplay for a handle on what I'd buy.

They have absolutely nothing to offer aside of their aesthetics.
