All these stories of pitbull maulings make me wonder why it's never any breeds of cats that commit this type of violence. Why didn't humans breed a super-violent species of cats that CE can complain about?

Well far fewer people take in tigers as pets but I don't think they're as violent as pitbulls..

Cats are too pointy on too many ends and they're already too violent to handle when at a certain temperment. Making them more violent and bigger would just make them impossible to handle for any breeder.
