If you're not in the US, interstates are just names for expressways that go between states IIRC. Generally they have the fastest posted speed limits, so post your equivalent.

I personally like going 65 on the interstate, but that's quickly going the way of the dodo here... the speed limits were recently raised from 65 to 70 on the local interstate, which means everyone will be going 75MPH.

States like Texas and New Mexico have their shit set at 80 outside of the cities, which means everyone is going 85. At that point it starts to feel dangerous to consider doing 65 in the 'slow lane' to save some gas. My gas mileage absolutely goes to shit after I start breaking 65MPH.

65 is what I see everywhere around this part of California.

Im in the suburbs outside of Chicago, and the max speed limits are all over the place 55, 60, 65 and 70.

If I had to guess, the most common is 60. I dont understand why it isnt 70 in most of those areas.

Outside of municipalities, it's 70 mph.

Going through them, it's usually 55 mph but I can think of a place on US-71 that intersects a neighborhood and has an actual gd stoplight on the interstate, with the speed limit dropping down to 40 mph.

Im pretty sure there arent really any speed limits anywhere here. If there are any, they arent enforced at all. The speedo on my bike has been busted since before I got it and thats not been a problem.

Used to all be 70, but now random parts have 65 or 55 listed. Especially where there are construction signs for months and no construction in sight.

Everyone still goes over 70 though.

Pretty sure Long Island doesn't have any interstates. But the the highest speed limit I've ever seen is 55mph. Though everyone tends to ignore that and average 65-70 unless there's heavy traffic or a cop nearby.

Was on the interstate today and some dumbass in a crossover SUV was hauling a box the length of his vehicle on top with just rope, didn't even have straps. He had his hand out the window holding a corner as if it would do anything lmao. As soon as he got up to speed it started shifting, at least he pulled over so I guess he had some brain cells left.

The highest common speed limit here (NZ) is 100km/h, which is equal to about 62mph. There's a very small number of roads with a limit of 110km/h (about 68mph).
