Ok there's actually way more licensed music than I remember.
No sleep till Brooklyn I need a hero Take on me Thunderstruck And some of them seemingly play for no reason at all. Like what was the point of the take on me segment? As much as I like to shit on Illumination, there are other animated kids movies that just play Licensed music for no reason other than for the fact they're licensed music. From what I heard, the Peanuts movie was suppose to have licensed music playing in it as well, but it was changed when there was backlash against it when licensed music was playing during the trailers.
There was a youtube video that showed there was suppose to be an original song played during the segment when they played "take on me", but it got taken down for copyright which probably showed they probably at some point didn't want licensed music. --- DI MOLTO! ... Copied to Clipboard!
