But Beth's reputation has taken enough of a hit in the past few years (particularly with dumbed-down gameplay and poor QA testing) that enough people might take a 'wait and see' approach to buying it and hamper initial sales. Obviously Starfield will lose people who don't realize it's more of that, but I think marketing will mitigate that a fair amount.
