Where are you getting that the police had a hand in this? It sounds like they were being transported by a private contractor. The part you bolded continues on to read "...when they are well again."

That's what's so odd to me... Like, they clearly read some of the article because they quoted and bolded part of it that seems to support the topic title when you strip away context but the bit right after the part they bolded clearly contradicts the point they were trying to make?
