It's a lot like Space Mountain but the position you are in on the coaster makes it much more intense

If you watch the Behind The Attraction docu-series on Disney+ it's like an evolution of Space Mountain.

I got to ride it twice last week and I'm ready to go back :]

I don't think I can ever go to a Disney park again. Everything is wayyyyyy too expensive, crowds are too big, and the genie pass is BS. Is rather fuck around in Sea World and that's a mid tier option.

You know, I think you can get most of it online. I have been really disappointed with the quality of the merch at WDW. It's mostly the same stuff they've had, just lower quality, for more money. Worse, the little unique things about each shop seem to be growing fewer and fewer in quantity.

Loved guardians but it made me dizzier than Ive ever been on a coaster, and I ride quite a bit across the country.

My wife felt that way too, but she has a rough time with a lot of the "spinny" rides. Cannot ride Mission Space or whatever the one with Gary Sinise was called.

It's basically like the Hagrid ride at Universal.

They should have just replaced Space Mountain. If they're making "better" Space Mountains while the original is still unchanged, it's going to make it look and feel even worse.

Ew no. Space Mountain is a classic. It doesn't need to be replaced just because they added other dark rides

I would love to go to Magic Kingdom but the whole trip can be kind of expensive for my budget. I do hope to go sooner than later, though.

Eh, Space Mountain is still worth it, and maybe even a more traditionally thrilling ride than GotG (I havent ridden Tron yet but watched a POV video)

the problem is all have extremely similar theming and even layouts. They could have gone with a ton of different themes for GotG to differentiate it from Space Mountain, but they went with a basically identical traveling through the black void of space theme. Tron looks visually similar as well, with way less light effects than I would have expected (again, havent actually ridden it tho)

I would not mind seeing Space Mountain go, or at least get gutted and rebooted. Janky-ass old coaster that left me with a backache for the rest of the day the last time I rode it.

Space Mountain is dated and is in desperate need of a restructure. It's just okay right now, but it's going to get worse as time goes on.

And that would be fine. Update and refurbish it, but don't scrap it just because another ride is similar

I went on Tron last month. It was pretty cool. The start up is the most thrilling part then it kinda peters off tho. There was a bodybuilder type dude in front of me that couldn't stop laughing when he got into position for the seat lol
