Nah it's a 100% licensed, authorized product. Manta Lab is well-known.

But at the end of the day they're the ones going ahead with choosing to release this without a physical copy. They easily could have turned this down but instead they went and are asking like $40 USD for the steelbook and like $90 USD for the whole package. Plus $10-$15 in shipping on top of that.

Absolutely stupid shit.

I loath the thought of physical media having its final fade out.

Like, for example, if you have a DVD or VHS copy of Splash, you get to see glorious mermaid ass. If you're left only with streaming, you get to see a bunch of CGI hair added in post-production.

And even if we're not talking about direct censorship, I prefer my Star Wars without Darth Vader screaming, "NoOoOoooo!"

Did they section it off to where you have a code and tie that to your Disney account and you can watch that series regardless of your sub status, but nope... What a fucking joke.

If there was a code it'd be through Movies Anywhere.

But since that only technically exists in the US they couldn't include a code like that anywhere else.

And for some dumb reason they seemingly don't want to print physical copies.

That's the way I thought streaming show were going to be, but nope. Most streaming shows across the different brands don't get physical releases. I would love to buy 4K discs of shows like Altered Carbon, Death Love and Robots, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and most of the Disney+ live action Marvel and Star Wars shows, but nope.
