I remember enjoying those dinosaur shows with stop animation from the guy behind Empire Strikes Back and Mad God. There was one year in my childhood that they did a New Year's Eve countdown dedicated to dino shows.

I used to get up early to lay on the couch and drink coffee/snooze while Sunrise Earth was on.

No dialogue just an hour long collection of a bunch shots showing the transition from dark to daylight at various national parks.
