There's more than double the size of the original game (you have to redo every dungeon from the original except Zot & Giant) as well as at least 2 new dungeons per region. So it's somewhere between 2 and 3 times bigger than the original. Most the characters have new abilities. There's also new characters like Luca the dwarf princess. There's more party members in TAY than any previous mainline game, record formerly held by FF6. Then there's a super long final dungeon. Suuuuuuuper long. It has some cool surprises I don't want to spoil but it's definitely worth playing if you're a long time fan. Additionally, the PSP version has a super boss that you need to gear up 3 parties of Five to beat. Each party is responsible for defeating one part of the boss. Oh and there's Chrono Trigger style double/triple/(& quadruple/quintuple!)
