I knew this yet I decided to grow it out and donate it again, why do I hate myself

i only ask because if they're expensive i'd be more hesitant to say throw them in the trash. but you should throw them in the trash.

muscle out the gross period and just let your hair do its thing

I finally got out of the awkward growth stage like three weeks ago. Feels great. My problem is I'm dogshit at putting up a quick pony. I always have a pony and clips on me though, because my hair is super thick and it's hot out there.

I also don't use any products at all, other than the regular shampoo, conditioner and a brush - and I make sure to brush it out before showering

Honestly I don't use anything special, I just clean regularly with shampoo and conditioner. I've been curious about different products so good to know I can avoid them lol

mines currently the longest Ive ever had it, started this journey when I had a stylist as a gf and now Im single but still going

I really need to re-up on product as Im sliding by with bad shampoo and conditioner and good leave in treatment atm

Hairband/headband life, ponytail holds much better but my hair is so thick and curly it can be a pain sometimes

I think I'm done with even medium length hair. My hair doesn't get particularly long, but it is thick and shaggy. I recently got a buzzcut and it's so freeing. Not having to deal with washing and drying, or it getting in your eyes, or getting sweaty because of it is amazing.

I JUST got long enough to do a stubby little pony and I swear by it. Need clips for the front still, but I'm the same and keep them on hand.

I can only go so short because my wife loves my hair otherwise I'd stick with the buzzcut I've gotten since childhood lol

I keep my hair short, need a haircut every few weeks.

Aw Ty, I used to just rock buzz cut but my ex helped me get past the awkward phases by actually doing it properly and now I dont think Ill go back to short hair for a long time

Yea, sounds like you're in the thick of the worst stage of growth. Long enough to be annoying, but not long enough to really do with it. My hair grows really quickly, so if you're like me you'll be out of the stage in just a few more week. Stay strong, my guy!

@despised I love your hair. Mine is slightly shorter and just a bit less curly. The way your hair sits in the pony is literally exactly how I want mine to sit
