I just found out 7/11s are open 24 hours still

Almost nothing around here is open 24 hours anymore, I assume due to staffing issues post COVID.

yeah I dont know if theyve remained 24hours the entire time or not

i just didnt know, they have this orange mango electrolyte drink with no calories thats really yummy

the one 24h gas station in my town has been 24h even through covid

i don't think covid really negatively impacted gas stations much

Yeah, it's not quite like the grocery store I work at where we used to be open 24/7 (except on Christmas day), but started shutting down between Midnight and 6am during Covid. We're supposed to be open 5am to Midnight every day but Christmas, but the front end just hasn't has enough staff to be open past 10pm since after we stopped late night hours.

I will say, though. Since the late night hours stopped, we've had no more incidents of drug addicts passing out or nearly dying in the restrooms, of random people making out with the glass of our Deli or Orient food cases while said departments are closed, and I forget what else. That second point has been nice for me, because I'd sworn up and down we cleaned our hotcase thoroughly every night before leaving, but kept having to clean the glass again in the mornings before opening; then that stopped and my manager at the time was like "That's so weird!"

I miss when Walmart was open 24/7, sometimes I'll be sitting there in the middle of the night and realize I'm out of my favorite Lil Debbie snacks.

Fun Fact: the reason they are named as such b/c they were open from 7am to 11pm...
