I have it intentionally set to only start this way if the key fob is in the slot in the dashboard. It had a place hand on handle unlock feature which was also incredible. Sadly, my newest car you still have to press the damn button to unlock it, which honestly just annoys me as I always struggle to know if its already unlocked or not. The first was my Grandfathers Crown Victoria which had a push code door lock, with digital display speedometer. Doesn't seem like much today, but back in the late 90s?
