No but as a manager I have told people that, not as harsh but basically

we dont play bullshit at our shop if you continuously be a pain we will tell you to go shop elsewhere, it has only come to that like twice ever though

As a manager, I never did. I do remember my boss at the theatre though. Some people would come in with a complaint every time. He finally told them that they obviously aren't happy with our service and they need to find another place to watch movies from now on.

Generic stuff. Popcorn tastes bad, I want a refund. Pop is flat, I want a refund. Sound is too loud. Sound is too quiet. I want a pass. You help them out the first time or two. But then you start recognizing the same person makes the same complaint every time they walk in the door. One of my favorites was a guy who always tried to pull a twofer. He'd walk in, head straight to the theatre, then come back out with a cup/bag asking for a refill and a new container. Obviously he picked them out of the trash. He'd also have a habit of his wife having an emergency every time he was watching a movie, alone, about 3 minutes before the credits started, so wanted a pass since he had to leave before it was over.

With regards to the flat soda complaint was the Co2 tank working? Cause I've been in the position where I needed to bring that up.

Yeah, as a manager and as a customer. From my customer side the manager was legit being an asshole tho, so I called him out on it which made him even more mad. That Best Buy ended up shutting down never saw a Best Buy with like 2 and a half stars

I second all of this as someone who manages a theater.

My favorite was years ago this person called and said they were diabetic and served regular coke instead of diet. Said they didn't talk to a manager because they had to rush to hospital. Didn't have ticket stubs. All they wanted were passes. I mean, if it were that serious, I'd think you'd be angrier and want more compensation. They didn't call back when I said I could make a claim with insurance and let them sort it out.

Trust me, we know and test for it. The point is that every single time Person A came to the theatre, they said their pop was flat and wanted their money back. No complaints from anybody else, it didn't taste flat to any employee. But somehow, Person A said they got a flat drink every visit.

Yeah, we started doing that too. Except the calls were for getting food poisoning. We'd ask for their information so we could contact our insurance company since that is a serious matter. They'd always go "no, its fine, just give us some tickets"

No, but I had a case where a staff member I supervise told someone to, so the person spoke to me, I said the same thing, they demanded a higher up who then also said the same thing. Was great.

The only time I ever complained is when I bought some stuff at self checkout and the person watching accused me of stealing a bag instead of paying 10 cents. They asked to see my receipt to make sure I didnt take one for free. I shut them down real quick.

Once i saw the manager harassing one of his employees. I actually dont remember what happened, but he embarrassed her in front of every customer in the store. Im sure she didnt do anything wrong either, it just seemed like a small error.

I ordered flowers for delivery for Valentines Day and they were never delivered. I went into the florist the following day to find out wtf happened. The clerk was unable to help me because she had limited access to things. So I asked if I could talk to a manager.

The manager essentially told me that they didn't have enough of what I ordered and were too busy to inform me. The worst part, was that I was still charged. I was told that I have to take it up with their online ordering service. I was given the number and sent off.

I just disputed the charges with my credit card. Fuck that place
