Yeah, this one's no contest. Nanaki's a great character, and while Rinoa has a couple good moments, she's easily the weakest of the series' love interest heroines.

Rinoa was fumbled so hard..

She was briefly interesting when she was the rebellious rich girl bullshitting her way through the assassination of a political leader.

And then after that they just turned her into love sick puppy.

Actually.. It's pretty much what they did to every character not named Squall.. and to a lesser extent Seifer. Set up these interesting vibrant characters and then just do absolutely nothing with them but support Squall's story.

Kinda lends credence to the fan theory that Squall died at the end of Disc 1 and everything after is just a dream, huh?
