USDA only requires half the meat to come from wagyu cattle for it to be labelled as 'American wagyu'. I generally live by the rule that if I can't look at the raw steak and it says "wagyu" it's a rip off, which would include all ground beef. (I guess getting it around 7:45 pm eastern time was way too late for this location and they were already in that "fuck it ready to go home" mood). The combo was all-around like 12 bucks and some tax so I was kinda' pissed about it not going to lie. I might try it one more time at an earlier time of day and also tell them to not put that ranch sauce on it the second time around.
