My parents bought me this and it scared me so i hid it under my bed and forgot about it for years. Found it a lil older and played it but never got very far. Yes, it was a rental. The Dreamcast game though is a masterpiece. Not as easy as it is beautiful. I did. I don't think I ever beat the first level. I just didn't know what to do. That game got strange as I learned. Yes, and I think I got pretty far compared to most other kids that age. I even reached the blue whale at the southpole. The game was fully english, and I didn't know english at that time, so games like Ecco were the reason I wanted to learn english. And I can't imagine how my mind would have been blown of if I had reached the crazy plot later on. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I played the Dreamcast Ecco. It was such an amazing game. There were some beautiful levels, and they cranked up the Geigeresque to 11. It was definitely held back by tech at the time and it desperately needs a modern remake. ... Copied to Clipboard!
