i have super long hair. this guy had long but receding old guy hair. probably 60s if i had to guess.

he asked me about it, and he said

"i had long hair when i was a kid, then at some point i became an obnoxiously religious conservative, like obnoxious, and then i returned to being a hippy again"

I wanna know what happened during that "dark" period.
