Refundable tickets generally cost more. The only way I know to reliably get a refund on a non-refundable ticket is if the airline modifies the flight in some way, such as canceling a connection, and then you can usually make the case for a full refund because the modification on their end made the flight incompatible with your plans. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz. Tickets are sold as refundable and non-refundable. If you bought a non-refundable ticket to save money, it gets messy. Unless the airline cancelled your flight, you have no right to a refund. You basically have two options:
